Welcome to SeeSaw!
This year we are going to experiment with the SeeSaw App. This app will allow students to complete challenges at home. Students will receive small token prizes when they have completed a challenge.
Saturday, September 7th>>>Multicultural Parade and Capoeira Demo
Meet at DMACC parking lot off of 9th Street at 9:45AM to get ready for the parade. We will practice for the parade and then start walking at 10:30AM. The parade ends at Evelyn K. Davis Park, where we will perform a short Capoeira Demo at 12:00PM. Wear black pants and grey uniform t-shirt. If you do not have a grey uniform t-shirt, wear a plain white t-shirt.
Saturday, September 14th>>>2nd Saturday Community Roda at 10:00-11:00AM followed by a potluck at the Grubb YMCA. Family and friends are welcome to watch and/or participate in the roda. This is a monthly tradition. This month we are having a brunch themed potluck. Mrs. Wallace will bring a pot of oatmeal and a pot of scrambled eggs.
Saturday, October 5th>>>We are launching our brand new family Capoeira class! This will be held once monthly (first Saturday of the month) where children and adults participate in Capoeira together.
