July 30-31 and August 1st, 2010
This year our event will focus in Vadiação de Capoeira (Play Capoeira for fun) while promoting unity between the Capoeira groups and capoeiristas from our Midwest capoeira family. We will have workshops in:
Capoeira techniques: Learn sequences movements and much more.
Capoeira Music: learn the rhythm games and names
Lecture about capoeira: We will talk about many important capoeira topics to share our knowledge.
Drumming and dancing Classes: We will practice Samba-Dança Afro – Maculelê and Puxada de Rede. And more important: We will again share our knowledge with each other, train Capoeira, make new friends, interact with our old Capoeira friends, and have lots of fun.
